Purpose:-         This Food Safety Training course enables you to meet customer needs and minimize risk, assessing the adequacy of the design, implementation and improvement of a food/drinks and associated industries.

By combining ISO 9001:2000 and HACCP, ISO 22000:2005 provides a useful model for business improvement in the food industry, based on the process approach, with the management of the food safety risk at its core.

ISO 22000:2005 is expected to supersede all other standards on food safety at international, national & company level.

This training is to develop food handlers to qualify as auditors/ consultants to develop and maintain FSMS (HACCP) systems to comply with regulations as well as customer requirements.

Scope: -           Course covers fundamental purpose of food safety management systems including principles, processes and techniques used for assessment and management of FSMS and meeting regulatory requirements e.g. EU, FDA etc.

This specillay address the following;

• Food & beverages and related industries for exports. These include tea, deccicated coconut, aquaculture & fisheries, fruits & vegetables and  spices.
• Domestic food industry specially processed meat & fish, poultry, dairy, friuits & vegetables.
• Hotel and restaurants
